Përkujdesja is an online software platform registered in the National Business Center in Albania, which functions as an intermediary, through online promotion, between medical service providers and patients.
2. Registration as a professional
Every professional licensed as a provider of medical services, as well as any business of
the category of dental clinic and multidisciplinary center has the right to register on
the platform, uploading all relevant documentation according to the listing category.
*We emphasize that materials such as licenses, which certify the permission to practice
the profession, will not be made public on the platform.
3. Registration as a patient
Any patient can register on the platform or register in the role of the patient a relative of his and request service for the latter, in case he finds it impossible to access the platform (in the case of the elderly).
4. Listing and verifying profiles of professionals
All professionals listed on this platform go through a verification process based on the documentation they upload at the time of listing, such as a license to practice or other professional certificates, in case they are freelancers. In case a business is listed, such as a dental clinic, pharmacy, medical laboratory or multidisciplinary center, they are verified based on VAT number.
5. Providing Service
Përkujdesja platform has no responsibility on providing medical care. Choosing the professional is entirely the responsibility of the patient. For this reason the platform displays all the necessary information uploaded by the professional.
6. Service packages
The professional has the right to publish on the platform specific packages of the service he offers. The number of service packages depends on the type of subscription the professional has chosen. The patient has the right to purchase one or more service packages from the professionals listed on the platform.
7. Patient review
In case the patient through the platform manages to prove that he has received a medical service from X professional, for himself or for a family member registered on the platform, he has the right to leave a review for this professional. To maintain transparency, this review is published directly without the need for administrator approval. In this way; reviews in the professional profile are an important factor in the process of choosing a professional by a potential patient.
8. Payments processing in case of providing a medical service (emergency or reserved)
Përkujdesja platform has no responsibility, either benefit from the patient at the moment of receiving a medical service. The financial transaction takes place between the professional and the patient according to the preliminary agreement they have.
9. Payments processing in case of purchasing a service package
In case the patient chooses to buy a service package of a professional through the platform, the payment processing takes place online through the platform. The patient pays online to the platform and the platform transfers the payment to the professional by applying on the package price, a fee of 10%.
10. Patient's consent and storage of his data
Once the patient registers on the platform as such and requests to receive medical care
from a professional listed on the platform, he/she agrees that the professional may store
his / her medical data on the platform which may include:
• The patient's medical history data.
• Medical data on diagnoses or consultations that have been applied to the patient by
this professional.
• Data or comments on the medical service provided by the professional and the current
medical conditions of the patient.
*This data can be accessed through the platform by the patient himself or his relative,
who has made his registration on the platform.
